What is Mesotherapy (Traditional Medicine)?

Mesotherapy is the injection of low-dose vitamin, mineral, plant extract and homeopathic preparations into the dermis or subcutaneous mesoderm using small needles.

It is used as TCAM for indications such as cellulite, hair loss, skin rejuvenation, regional fat reduction, sports injuries and chronic pain. Limited evidence supports clinical efficacy in some indications.

It is regulated as a TCAM practice in Turkey and may be performed only by certified physicians. Allergic reactions, infection, granuloma and rare hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
