What is Neural Therapy?

Neural therapy was developed by the German Huneke brothers and aims to address autonomic nervous system imbalances by injecting local anesthetics (usually procaine) into specific nerve points, ganglia, scar tissue, or painful areas.

In Türkiye, it is practiced under the GETAT regulations. It is used as a complementary treatment in chronic pain, headaches, and organic functional disorders.

Symptoms

Chronic head and neck pain
Pain associated with scar tissue
Sinusitis and chronic infections
Autonomic dysfunction (irritable bowel, dysmenorrhea)
Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue

Risk Factors

Pregnancy
Severe heart disease and conduction disorders
Severe renal or hepatic failure
Injection into an active infection site
