What is Reiki Energy Practice?

Reiki is a technique developed in 20th century Japan in which the practitioner places their hands on or near the patient, claiming to transfer 'universal life energy.'

Scientific studies have not shown significant benefit beyond placebo effect. It can be used as supportive for stress reduction and relaxation purposes.

In Turkey, it can only be performed by certified physicians under TCAM regulations. It must never be used in place of conventional medical treatment; 'miracle' claims are unproven.
