What is Qi Gong (Clinical Applications)?

Qi Gong is a body-mind practice with roots in traditional Chinese health philosophy that combines slow movements, breathing techniques and meditation. At its core lies the idea of balancing 'qi' energy.

Systematic reviews have reported moderate supportive effects in conditions such as hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and fall prevention in the elderly. The level of evidence is limited.

When practiced in Türkiye within the GETAT framework, authorized instructors should be preferred. It does not replace conventional treatment; it is complementary.
