Orthotic device use training is the structured education and rehabilitation process given to a patient receiving any upper limb, lower limb or spinal orthosis (AFO, KAFO, splint, brace, TLSO). The aim is to ensure safe and effective use of the orthosis and to optimise functional outcomes.
