What is Nutrition Therapy with Microbiota and Fermented Foods?

The gut microbiota is a complex ecosystem containing 100 trillion bacteria and is in close interaction with immunity, metabolism and the nervous system.

Fermented foods are nutrients in which natural lactic acid fermentation occurs and which contain live probiotic bacteria (Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium).

Regular consumption of fermented foods reduces inflammation, supports digestion, regulates immune response and may have positive effects on mental health (gut-brain axis).
