What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial release is a complementary practice aimed at reducing tension and restrictions in fascial tissue with manual pressure and stretching techniques.

It should be performed by a trained physiotherapist, masseur, or physician. It is supportive, not an alternative to conventional treatment.
