What is Mesotherapy for Pain?

Mesotherapy was developed by French physician Michel Pistor in 1952; small amounts (0.1-0.3 mL) of medication are injected into the painful area at multiple closely spaced points.

Indications include chronic low back pain, neck pain, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, knee osteoarthritis, tendinopathies and post-traumatic pain.

Cocktails contain procaine, lidocaine, NSAIDs, magnesium, B-complex vitamins, MSM and hyaluronic acid. Sessions are repeated weekly for 4-8 weeks and the effect may last several months.
