What is Homeopathy (Basic Knowledge)?

Homeopathy is a complementary medical system developed by Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century, based on the principle that 'like is treated by like,' and using preparations made by extreme serial dilution of substances.

High-quality scientific studies and systematic reviews have shown that the efficacy of homeopathic products is no different from placebo. The World Health Organization also does not recommend homeopathy in serious illnesses.

In Türkiye it is included within the TCAM regulation; however, it should be applied only by certified physicians, and only as a complementary, not an alternative, approach to conventional treatment. Claims of 'miraculous healing' should be avoided.
