What is Workplace Mobbing and Mental Health: Recognition and Intervention?

Workplace mobbing involves systematic, repetitive negative actions over time including verbal abuse, isolation, work sabotage, rumor spreading and humiliation.

Distinguished from interpersonal conflict by frequency (typically weekly or more), duration (typically 6 months or more) and power imbalance.

Common targets include high-performing employees, those with different opinions or backgrounds and individuals perceived as threats.
