What is Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder?

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and communication along with restricted, repetitive behaviors.

Adults receiving a late diagnosis often present with social-interaction fatigue, sensory hypersensitivity, and accompanying anxiety/depression.
