What is Pediatric Hypospadias Snodgrass TIP Repair?

Hypospadias is a congenital anomaly in which the urethral opening is located not at the tip of the penis but on the underside.

The Snodgrass tubularized incised plate TIP technique is a standard repair for distal and mid-shaft cases.

It tubularizes the urethral plate by incising it longitudinally and forming a new urethra.

Downward curvature of the penis

Hooded foreskin appearance
Concerns about future fertility and sexual function
